Rest, León, & León to Villar de Mazarife, October 9 & 10

Yesterday I was sightseeing around León and today I had a pretty easy walk out of town. 
The last couple of days have been quite relaxing. 

Some friends I had a pre-dinner drink with -
The drum and bugle band that played outside our bedroom window last night at 10:30 -
Bali the dog who is walking the Camino with his owner -
Something important was happening at the cathedral but I couldn't figure out what -
A medieval lathe at the medieval fair -
A window at the Gaudi museum -
Some Gaudi furniture -
A ham & cheese crepe for lunch -
Hosing down the streets of León before dawn -
On the way-
Tonight's albergue -
If you can zoom in, I'm in the door -
Today's walk about 12 miles -

 A week to go before I leave for the Camino!  I have been making a possible schedule and packing list.  I'm also starting this blog...  I don't know who'll be reading it, so please make a comment for me so I know.
