Hills & Cruz de Ferro. Rabanal del Camino to Molinaseca and Molinaseca to Villafranca del Bierzo, October 13 & 14



There are hills again!   There was a nice climb and decent yesterday and the forest leaves are starting to turn colors.     A memorable spot on this part of the Camino is the Cruz de Ferro. Peregrinos carry stones on their trek representing burdens in their life.  When they leave their stones they leave their burdens behind. Pilgrims have been doing this for hundreds of years and it is quite emotional for some.

 A week to go before I leave for the Camino!  I have been making a possible schedule and packing list.  I'm also starting this blog...  I don't know who'll be reading it, so please make a comment for me so I know.
